About

Helping Athletes Run Faster, Jump Higher, and Avoid Injury.

Valor Vision turns a smartphone into 3D biomechanics, giving every athlete a movement profile and a roadmap for long-term athletic development. They level up as they train, with progress visible to their coaches, trainers, and PTs.

Our start

From UVA Dorms to Elite Team Sidelines

Valor began as BraveX in 2018: three University of Virginia classmates prototyping early versions with off-the-shelf components and 3D-printed modules, through dozens of iterations. The mission has stayed constant: make intelligent movement science accessible to every athlete and coach. Because performance doesn't start on game day. It starts with how you move.

In 2021 the team raised on the idea of motion capture for sports and incorporated Brave Virtual Worlds, Inc., now doing business as Valor Biomechanics, carrying its original motion-tracking patents into the new company. Headquartered today in McLean, Virginia, Valor is an American AI company, building AI in America since 2021 🇺🇸

Today, Valor Vision is a camera-first platform (no lab, no markers) with an optional validated IMU and camera+IMU fusion for the highest- fidelity capture.

Brave Virtual Worlds launches

After graduation, the team raises on the idea of motion capture for sports and incorporates Brave Virtual Worlds, Inc. (dba Valor Biomechanics), carrying its original motion-tracking patents into the new company.
2024

Valor Vision ships

The first version of Valor Vision is released: camera-first, markerless 3D biomechanics on the iPhone and iPad you already own. The same year, the Valor IMU is validated against Vicon optical motion capture in Sensors (DOI 10.3390/s24175833).
2025
