Every Student Captures. Every Class Works With Real Data.
Teach With Real Data
Students capture real movement with their own phones and analyze joint angles, asymmetries, and sequencing the same week, no lab queue.
Research-Grade Validation
Peer-reviewed validation against Vicon optical motion capture (Sensors, 2024) means the numbers stand up in a methods section.
Scales to a Whole Cohort
A full lab section can collect data in one class period, in the gym, on the field, or in the hallway, instead of rotating through a fixed capture space.
Built on published science
The Valor IMU system was validated against Vicon optical motion capture in a peer-reviewed study, and the validation work is published in Sensors (2024).

What is Valor Vision for kinesiology and biomechanics education?
Valor Vision is a markerless 3D motion analysis platform. Kinesiology departments, biomechanics labs, and researchers use it to capture human movement with a single iPhone or iPad and get objective joint metrics, movement scores, and asymmetry flags in minutes, without booking lab time.
Is the measurement validated for academic use?
The Valor IMU system was validated against Vicon optical motion capture in a peer-reviewed study (Sensors, 2024, DOI 10.3390/s24175833), and the platform reports joint-angle accuracy of plus or minus 3.5 degrees. The full validation methodology is on our research page.
How does it work in a classroom setting?
Every student can capture with a phone. A cohort can collect movement data in a single lab section, in the gym, on the field, or in the hallway, then work with real joint metrics instead of waiting on scheduled time in a fixed capture space.
Can I use Valor Vision in my research?
Valor Vision grew out of peer-reviewed validation work, and our team includes the authors of the Sensors 2024 study. Read the methodology on our research page, and contact us to discuss your study design and data needs.
Do students need special hardware?
No. Valor Vision runs on the iPhone or iPad students already carry, with no markers or rig. For higher-fidelity capture there is an optional validated Valor IMU wearable, and the two modalities can be fused.
