What is Valor Vision for physical therapy?
Valor Vision is a markerless 3D motion analysis platform. Physical therapists use it to capture a patient's squat, gait, jump, or sprint with a single iPhone or iPad and get objective joint metrics, movement scores, and asymmetry flags in minutes, in the clinic or on the field.
Do I need a lab or special hardware?
No. Valor Vision runs on the iPhone or iPad you already own, with no markers, rig, or dedicated capture space. For higher-fidelity capture there is an optional validated Valor IMU wearable, and the camera and IMU modalities can be fused.
Is the measurement validated?
Yes. The Valor IMU system was validated against Vicon optical motion capture in a peer-reviewed study (Sensors, 2024, DOI 10.3390/s24175833), and the platform reports joint-angle accuracy of plus or minus 3.5 degrees.
